Tropical Depression 6
Tropical Depression 6 from the 2004 Atlantic hurricane season. Tropical depressions consist of an organized system of clouds and thunderstorms with a defined surface circulation. Instead of a round appearance similar to hurricanes, these weather systems look like individual thunderstorms that are grouped together. Image taken by the GOES-12 satellite, August 25, 2004.
